our digital prepress operations
is computer-to-plate
technology and high-end
digital proofing. CTP (computer-to-plate)
technology promotes the
use of high-end digital
imaging without the commitment
to conventional film-based
analog and platemaking.
Simply said, without the
use of film (imaging, stripping
and the multiple burns associated
with proofing), the overall
effect is dramatically higher
quality with the use of
a first-generation dot and
quicker turnaround with
corrections to proofs. Ultimately,
jobs get on and off press
faster with the virtual
elimination of register
and "fit" problems
with our Thermal Fuji Javelin plate setter.
Also, plate remakes are
minimized due to dust problems
in the plate vacuum frame,
reducing press make-ready
times across the board. |
