Through 3 generations, spanning
8 decades, reinvestment in technology
has always been the ultimate focus
of the leadership at Lebon Press.
By focusing on technology, we
are able to maximize our clients'
print value by adding production
capabilities such as larger sheet
sizes, additional colors printed,
enhanced resolution of print quality,
and higher rates of speed.
Our ability to produce higher
quality work, in a shorter production
cycle, in a less costly manner,
is imperative. Computer to plate
imaging maximizes the resolution
of print quality and minimizes
dot gain on the printed sheet.
In addition, Author's Alterations
(AAs) hours on press are minimized
because rapid corrections can
be often replated within a half-hour.
With the use of Aqueous Coating,
jobs can be backed up and finished
without the wait for ink curing
time. This feature adds hundreds
of hours back into the Lebon production
schedule, resulting in a most
efficient use of press and bindery
hours, while shortening the production
cycle.
In the effort to continuously
improve the operations at Lebon
Press, investment opportunities
regarding the entire facility
are scrutinized on an ongoing
basis. Ultimately, this helps
distinguish Lebon from our competition.
