The
Project:
When
a
client
specializing
in
historic
site
renovation
completed
a
job
for
the
Mark
Twain
House,
they
wanted
to
capitalize
on
the
project
by
producing
a
high-end
corporate
brochure,
a
custom
pocket
folder
cover,
and
a
complementary
direct
mail
piece.
They
relied
on
Lebon's
77
years
of
graphic
communications
expertise
to
produce
a
hexagonal
graphic
image
tie-in
between
both
pieces,
reflecting
Mark
Twains
recognizable
hexagonal
roof
tiles.
Lebon's
Solution:
The
project
designer
had
specified
that
she
wanted
the
pocket
folder
cover
and
direct
mail
piece
to
print
on
the
same
stock.
Lebon
worked
with
the
designer
to
modify
the
size
of
the
direct
mail
piece.
This
modification
allowed
the
direct
mail
piece
and
folder
to
fit
on
one
sheet
of
paper,
thus
reducing
the
cost
by
combining
two
die-cutting
projects
into
one.
Bottom
Line: This
enabled
our
client
to
get
both
the
folder
and
the
direct
mail
piece
within
a
budget
allocation
that
was
originally
earmarked
only
for
the
corporate
brochure.
