The
Project:
When
a
famous
senior
PGA
golfer
turned
to
Lebon
Press
for
the
printing
of
his
autobiography,
it
should
have
been
a
hole
in
one
because
the
film
for
the
entire
book
was
to
have
been
supplied.
As
it
turned
out,
the
film
for
the
cover
never
appeared,
and
because
of
the
production
deadlines,
there
was
no
time
to
wait
for
it.
Lebon's
Solution:
The
cover
needed
to
be
recreated
and
Lebons
top
flight
prepress
technicians
went
into
graphic
design
mode
by
overseeing
all
typesetting,
scanning
and
drawing
of
the
required
art
elements.
The
end
result
was
that
they
created
a
perfect
match
to
the
original.
Additionally,
they
turned
the
job
into
a
perfect
bound
version
as
opposed
to
the
previous
case
bound
version.
Bottom
Line:
Suggested
a
different
binding
option.
This
change
resulted
in
a
significant
cost
reduction.
Recreated
the
entire
cover
from
scratch,
including
type setting,
scanning art and
graphics.
Maintained
the
integrity
of
the
hard
cover
version's
book
jacket.
